UHME : University of Houston Math Enthusiasts
University of Houston Math Enthusiasts is a student group dedicated to promoting the mathematical curiosity of the UH student body. Whether you're studying Art History, cell splitting in Biology, or inventing Sodoku Algebras, drop in on one of our biweekly meetings on campus or login to our UHME Yahoo Group for on going discussions. We'll show you that mathematics is accessible to everyone (even Physics Majors). Our meetings are generally informal and last one to three hours--come and go at your leisure! If your schedule prevents you from hanging out with us, let us know when a better time would be. There’s a chance there are others in your boat, and we can set up an alternate meeting time.
This is the opportunity for you to bring that math topic you have always wanted to discuss with someone, but couldn't find someone to listen.
If you have any questions about the organization, email us at UHME@math.uh.edu.Links:
