PHYSICS PAPER AMONG LIST OF HIGH QUALITY RESEARCH PUBLISHED IN SCIENCE JOURNAL
The editorial board of Superconductor Science and Technology (SUST)—a multidisciplinary journal for papers on all aspects of superconductivity— has recently released a list of 33 papers that highlight the quality of research published in SUST in 2005.
Among the papers is “Improved Pinning by Multiple In-line Damage” by UH authors Roy Weinstein, Ravi-Persad Sawh, Alberto Gandini, and Drew Parks.
Physics Professor Weinstein and his co-authors have recently found that conventional wisdom regarding how to obtain high current density (Jc) in a superconductor is incorrect. The paper named above is the first in a series of papers Weinstein et al. have published on this issue.
